keeps asking me to install updates after i have already done it

Vista home basic keeps asking me to install updates

i have done this and restarted my pc but still asking me to install
can any one help me out here

Next time it comes, set it to hide. Right click on it. That should be end of problem
Check to make sure it is really installed, though.

Try reset transaction in harder way:

Boot system in "safe mode with command prompt" (see also http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88009-advanced-boot-options.html
)

and type:

cd %windir%\system32\config\txr

press ENTER

attrib -r -s -h *

press ENTER

del *

press ENTER

cd c:\windows\System32\SMI\Store\Machine

press ENTER

attrib -r -s -h *

press ENTER

del *.TM*

press ENTER

del *.blf

press ENTER

del *.regtrans-ms

press ENTER

If any command return some error please let me know,it would be very important,if it doesn't return any error try WU again

Are you absolutely sure none of my commands didn't return any error? Try install standalone version Download details: MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB973688)

if it doesn't work repeat all steps from my previous post again.
