Itunes/QT help

I just got an Iphone and I need to have an updated Itunes/Quicktime. I was told to uninstall then reintall newest version. Each time I try to uninstall, I get a message that reads

"Could not open key HKey_Local_Machine\software\microsoft\windows\software\currentversion\run Verify you have sufficient access to that key or contact administor"

HELP!!!

Hello, and welcome to the Vista Forums!

Make sure you run the uninstaller with Admin Privileges. If this does not help, or you already are, come back here.

Thank you. I did make sure that my user had Admin privileges with full access. I ended up just deleting the "run" with its sub files and that did the trick.

Is everything OK? I certainly would not have recommended that, as that is one of the big startup locations for programs. Some of your startups won't start up, and if you have any other problems, don't hesitate to come back here.
