I have an old version of this file isusweb.dll). If I obtain a much newer version is it likely to function with the other older files that it uses, and is used by?

Thanks

In general it's best not to mess around with .dll files - changing versions can have nasty side effects, if it's not done in exactly the way the installation expects.

If you want to update the file, (it's possibly either a Macrovision ActiveX control or related to InstallShield, apparently) you should look for updated versions of the program which installed it in the first place.

In situations such as this, where two potentially very different files have the same name, updating properly is critical.

Thank you.
