Is the PeerGuardian 2 client for Vista 64 safe?

I use PeerGuardian 2 on my XP box to keep out unwanted IPs, such as those that would drop a mess of spyware onto my computer. There isn't yet a download for a fully completed version of PG2 for Vista, but there is an RC1 out. Does anyone know what the risks are of running this version?

Well they clearly mention on their Website :

This is not the final version of RC1. This is an initial testing release only. Things are broken.

So you can expect a few crashes here and there.

i have it, and no problems at all. stays on my taskbar, and is practically unnoticeable

It's working pretty well for me but one has to boot into Vista x64 with driver signature enforcement disabled (by pressing F8 during start up) in order to use PG2 because they don't have a signed driver yet. Not being able to permanently disable driver signature enforcement is the one thing I hate about Vista x64.

try this Citadel Industries it will diable driver signing at startup and allow unsigned software to run works fine with vista 32&64 ps could not post with firefox had to dust off IE to post this hate it when that happens

will disabling the integrity checks cause any problems in the future? i'm not even sure what it does but i figured it's there for a reason. it's the only thing that's held me back from dling PG2 for vista x64...thanks!
