Hi, I been trying to solve this one myself for a couple of weeks, having run memtestx86 I replaced the RAM, and the PSU noticing the fan was labouring. Aswell as did a clean install of Vista. Computer works fine in 2d desktop mode, GPU temp was running a little high, so installed EVGA Precision to bring the temp down. But the I still get BSOD while playing World of Warcraft after a few minutes, yet I have played GTA: Vice City without any problems. Old StarCraft does crash as well but only after like 20 mins of play.
(no I'm not blaming Blizzard on this lol) Anyway I'm attaching my reports hopefully you guys can help me figure out what needs replacing or just re-configuring. (fingers crossed for the latter)
Vista Home Pre x86 32bit
Mobo: asrock n68c-s ucc
Video: BFG Nvidia GeForce 9800GT
Sound: Soundbalster X-Fi
RAM: 2x2 GB of Kingston ddr2 667

Also is there any software you could recommend checking the integrity of the Video RAM or Processor? And would give a report even if it does cause another BSOD.

Usually, this kind of problem is caused by GPU and/or CPU overheating. You could download HWMonitor or any of the other monitoring software and check it while you're playing.

When you get a BSOD, down at the bottom above where the countdown is going on, it usually states the faulting problem. Do you know what it says?

I'm asking because it's a lot of work going through all the log files.

Hi,

First Run a Malwarebyte scan (Updated): -

Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download

Then uninstall DAEMON Tools "C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools\daemon.exe"

Hey it appears to be fixed, I removed the CPU cleaned the heat sink and fan and applied new thermal paste. Haven't had a BSoD since. Thanks guys!

You're welcome. Cleanliness is next to godliness when it comes to cooling GPU's and CPU's. It could have been the thermal paste also.
