Inverted Mouse

Who uses it?

I certainly do, when I was a kid (seven years or something) my brother taught me to play FPS's with Inverted Mouse, and now I can't play without it.

Who of you also play with the inverted mouse setting enabled, I hear 10% of the gamers enable it.

Inverted mice on Flight sims, for sure....only way to fly :P
Flight sim with a mouse? I think I'd use a keyboard before I used a mouse to fly. :p
Joysticks are the only way to fly a plane.

And I've never tried playing an FPS with inverted mouse, but I have a feeling I will die many many times before I get a hang of it. And knowing myself, getting frustrated at not being able to pick it up fast and the constant dying will throw me over the edge.

Yeah... I'll just stick to what I'm used to.

Actually, no. Think about it.

In a plane stick forward to nose down. On a computer mouse up (forward) to move *up* (nose up). To get the right combo you need to invert mouse.

Now, IIRC the better Flight Sims already take care of this....

Oh yes I understand why you would invert a mouse for flight sims, but its the idea of using a mouse for flight sims. At least I wouldn't be able to fly so well with a mouse. Heck, I played the BF2142 demo and every time I got in the helicopter/jet vehicle, it wasn't a smooth ride, lol.
I even use a joystick (my XBOX 360 controller) for Google Earth's flight sim.

Yeah, well, I don't play flight sims that much - but I have tried a few here and there - and there is no way I am buying a joystick / flight stick for 5 hours use per year :P

Now, as for racing, well, I *should* buy a wheel - but I am too lazy...and I race more like 5 hours in every 50 hours :P

The way I look at it, just get an Xbox 360 controller. I don't fly much at all, but racing is a big one for me. I've got DiRT, Grid, and Flatout: Ultimate Carnage. You know, a taste of rally, street, and mayhem lol. The Xbox controller has been pretty good, and it's even better now that some games on PC come preconfigured for use with it.
