internet options

Hi, I need to go into the internet options from the drop down tools.
When I click on internet options nothing happens.
No little window opens with all the tabs in it.
Any ideas.
Windows vista 32 on an Acer laptop.
Thanks Brian.

Try typing that term in search and see if that works.

Try both right and left click if you have trouble entering from tools.

Also try from control panel, what happens?

So now we know that the problem is not with Internet Options, but the link.

I think that the bulk of your problem is solved, you can get to Internet options, now.

Try getting in through tools again, lets see what happens, now that you were able to get in through Control Panel.

Were you ever able to use tools, IO, to gain access?

We have to find a way to fix the link in tools.

One suggestion, in lieu of a better solution. Which is what I would do is make a short cut from the Control Panel and put it on desktop. Maybe it can even be placed in the start menu or the task bar.

I looked for this
1. Open "regedit.exe"

2. Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Policies/Microsoft/Internet Explorer

3. Now delete a key "NoBrowserOptions" or change its value to 0.

I don't have internet explorer after microsoft. !!!

I'm sure i did use options from tools when I set this up a long time ago.
Tools options still not working.
At least I can get there now.
Many thanks for your help.

Sorry it is not exactly the way you wanted, but others may come along and help, also.

I thank you for the rep, that was very nice of you. Take care.

or just google skylab2000
