The past few days my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop has been dropping the wireless internet connection every so often. Sometimes twice in an hour, sometimes once a day. In my attempts to fix the problem, I found that after running diagnostics on my connection that the IP Ping fails but I'm still able to access the internet. I can ping the default gateway and websites through command prompt but the test fails anyway
It's through the Dell Wireless WLAN Card utility, and if I choose to skip the Internet IP test, everything else passes including the DNS IP ping, as well as the Internet Website Domain name ping. Thought this was kind of weird, anything I can do to fix it? I don't care about my laptop dropping the connection, it happens so little it doesn't matter
