Internet Help!

I recently deleted 5 trojan viruses from my laptop.
Windows explorer started to crash frequently and it was annoying
I went to the microsoft website for help
I ran a network connect test everything was fine
then i downloaded this windows explorer repair thing and now windows explorer no longer crashes but my internet is slowed down and some websites don't even work
like yahoo.com and myspace.com
does anybody know what i can do to make these sites work?
I have a dell inspiron 1520
OS: Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit
I use Firefox 3.01 for my internet browser

Maybe you are still infected.
