Hi! This is my first time in this forum. So forgive me if I'm in the wrong area...but need help. Internet Explorer keeps "stopped working" and "restarting" while I'm in the middle of doing things. I lose all my open windows/tabs. Can someone please tell me if there is a solution to this problem. Also, how do I find out which Vista version I have?

Welcome almost, Click on the lower left Vista windows logo start button and then click on "Welcome Center" or type Welcome Center in the search bar.From there it'll tell you what version of Vista you are using...and everything else.
As far as your other problem I'd try
going to Internet Options-> Advanced and first choose "Restore Advanced Settings" and then click "Reset". Restart IE. I f that doesnt work i'd also do a spyware and virus scan.
