Install MYOB Accounting on Vista

Vista Home Premium, new HP Pavilion

MYOB ver 9 accounting software runs fine on XP Home computer but not on Vista.

The software installs OK but cannot access data files, new files or those that came on the install CD for learning purposes.
Installed to all defaults

When I try to open a data file nothing happens.

This software is not available here anymore and foreign copies will not work because of tax codes so a newer version is not an option.

Any suggestions?

I am having the same issues. I'm guessing you're in Canada. I am told that MYOB should be back in Canada with a PC version by the end of 2009. I would love to find a fix to get me through until then. I'm willing to buy the new software when it becomes available but I need to use my data in the meantime! Sure would be nice if the new company would create a data upgrader for Canadian data files and allow us to use a trial US version until they get back into the Canadian market.
