i know thats rubbish , i am getting quite into world at war multiplayer at the moment , managed to claw my way up to level 45 , its hard work for me though im not the best gamer in the world

Doh...

I hope they give us a Demo soon, at least, it will keep me from going bonkers. At the moment I am trying hard to finish Far Cry 2 just coz I got nothing better to play but it is getting harder and harder to continue on... there is only so much driving I can do to put a full clip on a dood so he dies in piece or there is only so many times I can go through a check point w/o getting annoyed & agrevated by the re spawning of the AI.

I may have to re install CoD 4 and give it another pass in Hardcore just to get ready for # 2 :D

you are missing a lot of gameplay and storylines if you havent played them on pc, the multiplayer map pack that was on xbox live for cod4, chinatown is from the original call of duty from pc, a map called carentan, and that was probably one of the best maps on call of duty.

should be fine to run them, theyre quite old now, call of duty and call of duty: united offensive is the games in question, they ran perfectly fine on my friends desktop with a single core p4 and integrated ati gpu a few years ago

You haven't played CoD until you've played CoD:UO online :P

I'm still trying to figure out why so many people don't like World at War..they all say "OHH I HATE WW2!" and that nonsense. I think it's the greatest WW2 game yet, it's sp rich in the detail and realistic story line. I think they just don't like how hard it is so they give up. But now when I try to get online it says my hard dive must be full, which is utter BS, because i have over 200gb's left on it. But thanks to Vista I can't even get on the web now( I'm using a laptop with vista, and it works, so does my dad's, would love to know how this works..)
