Solved IE9 jump lists on vista

Hi, anyone who knows if jump lists in IE9 are supposed to be supported in vista? I can pin sites to the task bar and start menu but I can't get that little menu to open if I try to right-click the icon...

As far as I know it is supported; but this is a beta. Users, like yourself, are suppose to report the bugs, so that they can be eliminated before the official release.

From what I could see in the video it seems he's running Windows 7? Did it say, somewhere on the page, that vista is supported?... I've added the tags to my site but the site won't show that right-click menu, at least not in vista x64.

Really never gave IE9 much thought until your post. Seems that it is supported in Windows 7. I think that you suspicions are correct, that it is not supported in Vista.

I hadn't given it much thought either but got tired of how slow ie8 was. After installing Safari and realizing how much better the new generation of browsers are I just decided to try ie9. And I have to say that I'm impressed; it shows the web as beautifully as Safari does, but is even faster than Safari. Compared to the old browsers, and the new Safari, it's lightning fast. Really. And it's only a beta...

Yes, it might be that it's not supported in vista. If someone out there runs ie9 on windows 7 and you have the time I'd be grateful if you could check if that little jump list opens up at Mixed media metal sculptures | Junk art sculpture by Johan P. Jonsson - then we'll know!

I am sure that a member will come by with IE8 and give it a test. I am still on IE8
