IE8 and FlasPlayer Problem

Hi there, I recently decided to give IE8 ( NOT BETA ) a go and Im impressed with the speed it seems to be a lot faster than firefox, the problem is I can't watch anything video content without FLASH PLAYER. I have installed the latest version of Flash Player from Adobe.com but this hasn't worked, I have even reinstalled IE8, and javascript is turned on
Any suggestions appreciated.
I'm using Vista x64.

Hey smudger make sure you are using the 32bit version as flash doesn't work with the 64bit variant.

That is why you have both browsers in the first place
