I just bought my computer and it has Vista 64, Home Premium and every now and again IE7 says it detected an error and it is restarting. Is this a Vista issue, or should I just change my web browser? Thanks!

Happens with all browsers running under all operating systems. Don't fret over it.
btw, a couple weeks back a new clickjacking variant was released... and there is, to date, no fix, so you should be using Firefox with No-Scripts.
