IE not starting up, sorted

HI,

Just got around to updating windows ( Vista 32 ) on my laptop.
Installed sp1 and sp2 from windows update.
All went well, until I tried to open IE, it would not start up.
All I got was a flash of IE on the screen then it was gone.
Turned of all the addons, still no good.

So, went into update history and uninstalled IE8.
All is ok now.

Just thought I would share this in case anyone else has the same problem.

Just out of curiosity, why have you not upgraded to IE9?

I just wanted to get IE working again.
