hi all and thank you inadvance for trying to help by clicking on this post

i installed windows Vista business edition and it's now locked and i can't access it again because it asks for the product key so i need to know if it's possiable to install my previouse windows xp back again and how to get my files from the pc before formating it .
i nedd help please .. i have an important file on my pc.

Could you not just put your product key in?

The licence key is a green sticker. If you upgraded to vista it will be on the cd box or inside it. If it is a computer you bought then the sticker will be on the back.
