I can't search for certain emails ?

On Outlook Express I could search emails by To; From; dates prior to/after; etc. Now on Windows Live when I try to search I can't seem to search by whether I was the sender or the receiver ?? Maybe I need to adjust some settings to make the search feature as useful as it was using Outlook Express. Appreciate your advice.

Using Windows Search to search for Windows Live Mail e-mail will return incomplete results on Windows 7 64-bit Operating Systems

Hope it helps and note the warning.

Back up registry, and make a system restore before trying.

I can only assume this, also, applies to Vista.

Sorry I am so late in responding to my original post. It continues to do this and is frustrating so to answer honestly, I guess the response wasn't too helpful but I appreciate your time.

I MISS being able to search for emails by: from, to, etc. as I could on Outlook Express.
