It is entirely possible that it could be caused by the video card on your laptop not being supported by the game. That X1250 is roughly the equivalent of the old desktop X700, which is under the recommended minimum of a X800XT,

Frontlines: Fuel of War - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

System requirements CPU: Pentium 4 2.8GHz+ or equivalent AMD Athlon 2800+ RAM: 768MB for Windows XP / 1 GB RAM for Windows Vista
HD: 11.5 GB
GPU: nVidia 6800GT (SM3) or ATI X800XT (SM2)
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

P.S. Hope you aren't expecting to find lots of people playing that game online,

Servers playing Frontlines: Fuel of War | Server / Player Search | Game-Monitor.com :: Server Search, Monitoring, Stats and more

Unfortunately that game pretty much died shortly after release.
