I know this is about computers, but this situation is related to it, so I would post here. Sorry If i posted in the wrong board, just move it.
I am currently on Holiday in Canada, and I need to connect my Sony PSP to the internet at my auntie's apartment. This is what I do:
I do the normal [New Connection], then I scan for connections. I pick the one that has the highest signal strength, but since I'm in someone's apartment right now, there's a few more.
So after I picked the one with the highest signal strength, I need to put a god damn WPA key in. I look on my auntie's router to find it, but it's not there. Problem started.
Even if I skip the WPA key stuff, if I try to connect to the internet on my PSP with my Auntie's router then it says Obtaining IP Adress for a few seconds, then it says "The attempt to obtain the IP address timed out".
It's the same for my other auntie's house, but once difference, I really do have to enter a wpa key now, or it will say "The connection could not be established. Check the security settings or (forgot what it said after that, dosen't matter)"
Back in England at my home, it tells me on my own Router what my WEP key is. I enter that, and it's so simple. It just dosen't seem simple in Canada.
So, basicly I need to find out my Security Setting and my WEP/WPA key. Please give me a hand.

- Thank you for everything you've done for me in the past years. I'm sorry that games require much more than you're capable of, but you'll never be forgotten as my first personal computer <3
