Hi - hoping someone can help me. I've seen lots of posts on this subject all over the net, but no-one seems to have a resolution. Has anyone managed to get an HP deskjet 710c (parallel port) working on Vista 64? There's no drivers at HP, but Windows recognises the printer and installs its own.
Test page print just causes the printer to grab the first sheet, then nothing more. The printer is listed on the Hardware Compatibility list. I also get similar problems with Windows 7, though the same printer works fine with XP (32 bit) and on my wife's Vista 32 bit system.
Tearing my hair out. Microsoft advised me to speak to HP. HP don't offer any help. Does anyone have any tips? All suggestions very gratefully received!
