HP C6280 scanner

The printer part of this MFP has worked fine since day 1. The scanner will not 'talk' to either the HP Solution Center ('No HP devices found...') or ScanToPDF.

I have tried several solutions found in other forums, to no avail.

Has anyone managed to get this working?

Have you ever downloaded the driver for this specific MFP or are you just running on a generic driver. Suggest you install this driver: HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers

Actually, I did try that, but it made no difference.
I was able to get ScanToPDF to work and will stick with that.

You can also scan with PAINT. Go to "File" and then "From scanner or Camera".
