how to include admin credentials in silent installation package?

I would like to create a silent installation package that will require admin rights for installation and share it for power users working on vista machine...?

Hello!

How are you creating your installer? Does not Vista auto elevate anything named setup.exe and installer.exe, or something like that? The most important part is how you are creating this installer, because for a normal .exe you have to embed an application manifest. A bit of this process can be seen here: Step 6: Create and Embed an Application Manifest (UAC)

Is there no option avaiable to do it in this installer? There should be somewhere... Otherwise, you could fall back onto setup.exe, or use the manifest method, but I really think that there should be an option, unless it is automatic.

So, my question, have you tried the install? I think it will autoprompt anyway...
