how to give the compaq recovery (D) partition more space?

since i used my recovery partition to recover my computer back to factory state to fix my long list of errors, i have noticed that my recovery partition is low on disk space. i was wondering if anyone new how to give the recovery partition more disk space. any help would be greatful.

It is best not to touch the Recovery partition - doing so can break it.
