Every time I start and use Vista native speech recognition component I get the following error:
---------------------------
Error Window Title:
MS:SpeachUXMainNotifier: sapisvr.exe - Bad Image
Error message:
c:\Windows\System32\Speech\SpeechUX\SpeechUXPS.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your
system administrator or the software vendor for support.
----------------------------
Please help. I have RSI and I need to make the speech module working without giving me this error every 5 minutes. I seems to be always at start-up of the module. Also every time when you start a notepad-like program with some text entry. And any time you switch between programs. It make the speech recognition completely unusable.
1.
I tried windows restore to go back to older image and activating the speech module one more time. It did not help.
2.
The DLL file is "protected" and can not be "replaced" by a DLL taken from another Vista install. I can not reinstall whole vista because of this. Is there a easy-fix solution ? The files have same size in kbs so my-install file does not seem corrupted in any way.
Please help ....
