How to confirm if I'm connected to Wireless N or not?

Acer Aspire 4730Z with Atheros AR5B91 Wireless Network Adapter, how to tell if I am connected via wireless N to my router, router is set for b,g,n - there is no option for n only.

Speed says 300mbps, but the speed test I just ran after switching to this new router returns slower or equal speeds as with the old wireless G.

Try clicking on Connect to a Network. It'll show you available networks, including yours, and should include what protocol they're running on.

I think I am right that it is "N". The 802.11g standard for wireless networking supports a maximum bandwidth of 54 Megabits per second (Mbps). Your signal is low though.
