how do i "link" via the internet vista with xp

i have a friend that is always screwing up her desktop(she and her kids find ways).. i usually help them by phone(it takes much time) ! she lives 600 miles from me.

i want to "link"(via the internet) the 2 computers. i use VISTA 64 BIT she uses XP 32 BIT.. i want to access her machine and fix the problems that occur..

how do i do this? what software do we need?

Look up "Remote Assistance" in Windows help. That stuff is already built into both XP and Vista.
