Its just a thought but how do I find out the IP address of other computers contacting me or in a visitation of myself to say their web sites.
Not long ago a scallywag attempting something bad in an attack on my computer according to the Norton security alert. I have not yet investigated as Norton caught them up to something sneaky and stopped them in their tracks.
But I wonder if the log will let me know who sent that attack so I could locate them and know who was targetting my computer and also if I could check all incoming via the IP address just in case they appear as a trojan horse whiles contacting me. If their IP address can be found how. Is it a similar process.?
You could get two imaginary oscars if you know the answer as well as our undying gratitude.
P.S. Is it possible once I found out who was attacking my computer to put a block on their IP address as we can do with Emails so they cannot sneak themselves back into a secondary attack. I know Norton security does the protecting as does windows defender however, I might be able to block them manually as well. The idea seems useful. If so how would that be done.
Thats 3 imaginary oscars you could get there and perhaps if I find out who the scallywags are maybe a ringside seat on the Jerry Springer show when I confront them.
