History is blank????

HI,
In my IE the browser history has always been blank. I have tried reading older post and using those suggestions but nothing has come of it yet....any help?

Welcome to Vista Forums.

Have you already adjusted the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings to have the Days to keep pages in history set to a longer period and increase the Disk space to use so it will store more longer?

Do you have any utility programs that you run that has an option to clean out the temp files?

For example, CCleaner has that option.

I have had a look through the pc and can't seem to find any program like that at all.

I'm not sure why you have a blank history since the above checks out. The only other thing I can suggest is to reset IE7 back to the default settings to see if that helps. Step Two in this tutorial will show you how to reset IE7.

Hi,
Did you verify that in Internet Options/Advanced tab, the option to clear Temporary Internet files when IE is closed is not ticked ?
