hid drivers

vista installs the hid drivers for my keyboard instead of the ones for the keyboard
any suggestions?

I built it
Asus P6x58D premium mobo
XFXforce ati radeon 5770
hard drives cheap hitachi
Here's the funny part I have 6 gb of ram and vista 32 bit recognizes all of it

That's weird that it doesn't detect your keyboard, have you tried using a standard ps/2 connecting keyboard?

It detects the keyboard but installs the generic drivers not the logitech.
other than that its fine lol

Do you have a disk for the logitech keyboard with the drivers on it? Try this site, just find your model and there should be a driver there for it.

tried that already ...add hardware says that the driver isnt for the device

theres a couple diferent drivers there but im not sure whwich are for which because of the lcd panel
i tried them all though and got the same message
