hi everyone i wonder if you can help. i have been trying to install a software called vmware workstation in which i am installing backtrack5 into it. the software vmware installs ok but when i try to install backtrack5 into it i get an error. this error says

"serial0: Unable to launch virtual printer proxy: The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.

The device will be disconnected."

i have looked at the event handler and the error within that says

"Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Workstation\vprintproxy.exe".Error in manifest or policy file "" on line . A component version required by the application conflicts with another component version already active. Conflicting components are:. Component 1: C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30411.0_none_dba7eb55a0823cdf.manifest. Component 2: C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.4148_none_5090ab56bcba71c2.manifest."
