I'm not the most proficient with a comp so please excuse me if I'm not using the right language!!!:o

I'm currently on my flatmates laptop, connected to our wireless, my iphone connects okay yet my own laptop connects but says 'local only'......
I've tried everything I can think of but can't seem to get it!!!

Can anyone help?!?! And I'm talking babysteps here!!!:p

As a first step, you can try resetting your router. Do this by un-plugging the power cord connected to your wireless router, wait around 30 seconds, and re-connect it. Your computer should be able connect then.

I have had this problem with mine but doing the above post works but for a long term solution I would use your internet browser and enter the IP address then enter the username and password then there should be link saying 'test connection' test it and then follow the on screen instructions
