hi,
for some reason my windows live msn has been acting strangely i cannot sign in online, away or busy as if i do i get signed out within at least 30 secounds i dont have any error messages or anything, i can only appear offline that is the only way i am currently using msn to talk to people as you guess i dont like what has happend and i dont know what to do.

I am currently using windows messanger 2009 i never had this problem before.

I would be very geatful for any help with this matter.

Download and run malwarebytes

My feeling is that these tests will turn up negative. Whenever there is an unexpected change to your computer, it is always best to be safe than sorry.

thanks for that i downloaded malware however this hasnt resolved the problem and the last thing i installed on my computer was hamchii logmi in yet i removed that recently and a friend advised me to replace my AVG free by getting comodo.

do you think you may have another idea?

Hi

It sounds like Msn has become corrupt. You may want make a system restore point, so you can always go back, and then uninstall Msn..

Use cclean to get rid of any remaining remnanats.

Type Windows MSN in search see if anything remains.

After you are sure that it is all gone, try to reinstall.

i downloaded cclean and done everyhting you said i even uninstalled msn repeatedly and i still have to appear offline however i went home recently and was able 2 appear online and maybe i thought could be to do with the network?

You might want to see if this will clean up your uninstall so you can try a fresh install after.
