help with xp

since i have two desk top computers in my house. my vista in which i,m using now. on my windows xp. when i restart it. it comes up NTLDR is missing. i have tried looking on every web site to find how to fix it. as someoneone with limit computer skills. i have tried everything. do anyone know how to fix it so i can understand.
