Help with wireless connectivity issues

I have a wireless router (linksys), but when i try to connect to it with my desktop (has an attached reciever on it) the connection keeps dropping, and coming back up again. How do i fix this so my wireless connectivity will stay solid (or not drop as much), but with ethernet (hard wired) the connection stays steady so i think its not a router problem. plz help thanx

Try re-setting your router.

  1. Unplug the power cord to the router.
  2. Wait approximately 30 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cord back in.

no, the router itself is fine, i can get a steady connection when im directly connected via ethernet. but when i use wireless, the connection between router and wireless router keeps dropping. and i also use my laptop (even farther from the garage) and i still get stable signals, the problem is is that with my other pc (has a wireless adapter) the connection keeps droppping, and it is closer to my router than the laptop is!

plz read questions first instead of putting random answers (sorry if im being rude)
