Help with Vista update

that is my current problem and ive been searching everywhere for a solution and came up empty handed so i decided to post here, maybe someone has my answer.
i also try and click the install important updates and does nothing, same with install updates and shut down computer....just freezes >_<

You have Vista Ultimate, but which service pack? Also, what kind of objects do you have interacting with ActiveX? Go to the Start menu text bar and type in "Internet Options." In the middle of the options you see Browsing History. Click on "Settings." You want to "View Objects." What do you see?

i tried the sfc scan this scan that, found abunch of errors but couldnt fix any,made zero sense to me, checkdisk did nothing.....

You have to run "sfc/ scannow" a few times as it fixes one file at a time.

Please try resetting you Windows Update Program

^ Word! I didn't know how to do that.

btw, go into Control Panel and uninstall any Adobe flash player plug-ins you have. Then, go to the Adobe site and re-download and re-install new versions. That damaged object in the list is Flash and it is not good to have bad Flash around.
