Hello

My name is James and I'am currently a Junior in college as an operations major. For years I have been an avid gamer and computer geek. As part of a Business Communications class I'am required to write an F.A.R (Final Analytical Report.) In choosing a topic I need to identify a problem and find solutions to that problem. I deicded that since the internet is overwhelming with information, I would do windows Vista. Within my report I need to not only cover the problems and solutions, but efforts windows has made to improve the quality of the OS. I tried contact them through EMail, but you actually have to pay for that? hah. Anyways, I figured the gurus, admins and mods on here are extrmely knowledgable about all the information I would need. I turn here in order to get some help from you guys. Im looking for a list or group of information of all the related quality problems Vista has had, along with improvements that have been made or COULD have been made. Im not looking for anyone to do my paper, just help because research alone wont do this for me. Thanks in advance.

One way would be to read the problems various folks posting here have. They include their hardware, so you could see what trends there are in that. Do certain brands seem to have more problems ? Are more laptops or more desktops seem to be having problems ? etc.

Then look over the tutorials. Those are methods the folks here have come up with to fix various Vista problems.
