On my laptop I am using Vista Home Premium 64 and when I open the Window Update application from control panel or start the window opens blank white with This page cannot load. Would greatly appreciate if anyone had advice as to how I can solve this issue my updates are about a month behind. Thank you MATT

Is that pc actually connected to the internet..?
what else you can do is check if whether you have sp1 or sp2..
Download details: Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 and Windows Vista Service Pack 2 - Five Language Standalone for x64-based systems (KB948465)
then install it manually should be the fastest way to go..
How to find what you need?
right click on my computer then properties and see the on the general tap what service pack you got and what need to be installed.. vista is on sp2 actually..

If you have installed WindowsBlinds then this program is responsible for your issue and the best solution is uninstall it completely
