System Restore Points Maximum Disk Space Usage. See: How to Change the System Restore Disk Space Usage in Vista or you can disable System Restore. See: How to Disable or Enable System Restore in Vista 2. The Vista Temp files may be building up and need to be cleaned. You can use Disk Cleanup to delete these files.
