Hello all! What a nightmare
I just updated my gfx drivers. Was using the same ones since i had this computer (2008) Didnt have any problems before but my 2 gfx card temps was hitting 100degrees
and after the update they stay around 70-80
Anyways, Im having problems installing my monitor driver. At the moment it seems i have generic monitor installed. before i updated my gfx drivers i had a lot more options under resolutions and whatnot. Now i've updated i have only a few options. So im guessing its a problem with my monitor.
All my desktop icons seem to be half off the screen. Im using the same resolution as before. Also in games, before i had 3-4 wide screen options and now i have 1. gfx also seem very choppy :S
i found my drivers that i need but after trying to install them i get an error saying cannot install due to drivers not being digitally signed. in device manager i dont see my monitor, only generic monitor.
As you can probley see im not a pro with computer stuff
i got 2 gfx cards, nvidia 280gtx and im using 258.96_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_international_whql
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
This is the second time i have tryed to update. i re-rolled back to my old 2008 drivers because of this problem. But seeing as new drivers seem to bring my gfx temps down a lot i decided to give it another go.
