I recently changed from netzero to a broadband server which does not offer an email account, so I picked up yahoo for my email. I deleted the netzero account from windows mail and added yahoo, but must have done something very wrong. When I open windows mail (or hit send/receive) I get the following message:

Account: 'windows mail', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR popgate unknown command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry Yahoo does not offer POP Mail. You cannot use a mail client, unless you use the costly premium account..

I use gmx.com. It is reliable and I am sure that you will like it if you

just give it a chance.
