i have a big pb.yesterday i installed a vista theme...after i reboot my pc...my screen got black...can you help me?

i tried also with safe mode and with: safe mode command prompt andwith all the thing that appear when i pressed f8. please you have other ideea?something from bios?

it's starting..but it's all black.ok when i start the pc first i can see when in charging and apears that thing with microsft corporation when vista it's charging..but after it's all black ,i can see just the cursor.

Without any specs or detail problem descriptions, I would guess base on what is available the booting sequence has stopped at where after the scroll bar stops. The cause seems to be either widow is corrupted or unable to access hard drive...bad drive or bad connection. Another another unlikely possibility may be either graphic card got knock loose or graphic driver missing. What you guys think?

Hi Bare Foot Kid. You are right, but I was thinking window file corruption due to bad hard drive. I try to get him to run a disk check and connection check first. And while he is at it he can push the graphic card to set if there is one. Don't know if he can boot it in safe mode; if he can then install graphic driver. That is how I might have approach the problem. Thanks.

Boot using the windows vista dvd & do a startup repair. If that also does not help then try to do a system restore using the windows vista dvd.

shouldn't same4all just put a recovery disk or the windows vista disk into the actueal computer while it boots?? maybe that helps
