Help me install this driver.

So the WUSB300N wireless adapter isn't totally vista x64 compatible. Linksys will not publish official drivers. There are drivers on windows update, but of course you need to be able to get online for the PC to obtain those. I went to the windows update catalog and downloaded the x64 version of: "Marvell - Network - Wireless-N USB Network Adapter" These are supposed to be the working drivers for the WUSB300N.

The folder I ended up with was a .zip with the following six files:

mrvw24c.cat
Mrvw24C.pdb
netmw24c.inf
Mrvw24C.map
Mrvw24C.sys
vc80.pdb

Once I have Vista x64 installed, and this folder is transfered over via USB flash drive, what exactly do I need to do to install the driver?

Hi DarkDisciple,

You can use the Add New Hardware Wizard to manually select and install the driver or Right-Click the netmw24c.inf file and click install.

Let us know if you have problems

Once it is installed can I just delete all the files, or leave them in storage somewhere? Or do I need to put them in a windows directory?

And thanks.

Hey DarkDisciple,

After you install it using the methods I mentioned above you can just delete the files as the Install process automatically copy's the files into the appropriate directory.
