Help,Help,Help, Vista Home Basic x32 & IIS

Hi,
I am a lotus notes developer and recently started with Microsoft Technologies. Life has been in peril since the last 3 days. I am trying to install IIS on my Vista Home Basic x32 but I am not sucessful in the same. Also, because of that the Vista patches for SQL Server 2005 and Vusual Studio can not be installed.

Please help me, anyone. I will be really very grateful!

If I remember correctly IIS is already installed, go to the programs list and click turn windows features on or off and then check the IIS box.

Update - Its there, I just checked. Make sure you check the "Internet Information Services" box.

Thanks a lot my dear friend! Now, I will tell you about the main issue. I am not too sure where am I missing and how to proceed??
