Help!!!! Have i lost everything??

Hello,
i'm hoping that someone on here can help me please!!

I've got a compaq Presario CQ60 laptop with Vista Home Premium on it.

When switch it on it lets me log into my admin account but then when the desktop comes up all of my file icons are missing, photo's etc, there's just the icons that were on the laptop when i first got it. It also tells me that i'm on a 'temporary user profile'????

Have i lost everything???

Please help, i'm not very good with computers!!

Brink is great on this stuff. I'd additionally sugest explore the c drive for your files and saving them on a usb or external hard drive to be additionally safe.
