I was using my dads HP pav laptop when it popped up i had a trojan on one of my files, i clicked goto file and quickly deleted it, looking at the top of my screen to my horror i realised i was in the computer drivers section, cheaking my PC i found no damage so i continued usuing it.
however about half an hour later my computer restarted and when it booted back up my desktop had been wiped clean, only the recycle bin was left, i went to my programs and found nothing, all the pictures icons were gone off everything, i cheaked my dads personal file and all his invoices and work stuff were gone!!!, this is his ONLY copy of all his personal passwords, work information and EVERYTHING, the computer says its all still there somewhere as the harddrive is still full, but wheres it all gone ? what have i done ?
really need to get this fixed because if he gets home from work and finds his laptop like that i'm acctually going to be dead and he's going to be out of buissness ?
