help choosing the right graphic card please??

im going to get a new pc soon for gaming but i need a graphic card upgrade for my laptop to tie me over. At least thats what i think its the reason for game lag, as it is the lowest score on my windows score system. I will list all i can but im not that knowledgeable so jus let me kno if u need more info and where i can find it i dont mind pulling things apart hehe thanks

You can't get a better gpu.

Only 6% of laptops have removeable gpus, and yours isn't one of them.. Infact, your card isn't a gaming card being a quadro card.

I'm not that much more in the know.... I do know laptops blow because they can't get upgraded internally.

Would really open up a whole new market if you could peice new gpus into laptops...

nooooo that sux man, there has gotta be a way i can get better gameplay, its only for online games like tales of fantasy. nothing special, as i said just needs to tie me over. its not too bad but i dont want any lag at all. there has gotta b a way to improve that base score?? would a new motherboard be a viable option or is that too far for a laptop?

No, as mobos only fit certain cases... There has bgeen some talk of a add on gpu thAT'd fit upto a 3650, but it hasn't materialized yet.

Sorry... its new expensiver laptop, or suffer like the rest of us.

well thnks anyway, ill just have to wait for my pc to enjoy my gming experience more.
thats so frustrating tho, i wanna look into it more just for the hell of it... im so not satisfied.

u said my nvidia card isnt a gaming card right? what if i change the existing card? cus thats not part of the mb is it?

even if that can be upgraded not necessarily to a gc for games but just a better one. what do u think??

Saddly it is apart of the motherboard... A quadro card is a buisness mainly card, but it shouldnt game too poorly...

I thuink your best option is to tweak the game settings to best playability..

damn why they do that? its already an expensive computer they shud just throw an extra $100 on top and make the graphics a little better.

the worst part is man ive already got everything tweaked on windows and on the games for best performance.

okay one last idea lmao sorry...

is there a component upgrade that is possible to get more performance from my existing mb? or a combination if thats better?

like would my mb handle a faster processor?

You do have a good system, but its more of a buisness machine...

yeah its a work computer mainly. lol. i looked into a new cpu it seems an intel T9300 might be a worthy upgrade if i can find one they are quite elusive atm.
that will give me a 6mb cache, 2.5 GHz and 64-bit at 800MHz.
so if i can find a reasonably priced t9300 ill go with that option and possibly build from that, not sure yet. thanks patonb for your help ill post back if i upgrade and review the new system
