i was on a websitelast night and this thing popped up windows diagnostics and said theres a problem with my harddrive and it would scan and then try to fix it but theres like 6 things wrong woth it and repairs could not be made and when i tried to close it it was very hard to close. when ever i was able to close it my computer restarts on its own it kept doing that untill i did a system restore and took it back 2 days during the restore start-up repair came up saying that my computer did not start up and it scanned and fixed the problem after the restore i didnt see the windows diagnostic utillity so i went on the web to download spybot and avira antivir personal ant virus. once they were installed i began to play world of warcraft. after a few hours spybot poped up saying somthing about registry and then world of warcraft crashed. as soon as i closed completly out of WOW i tried to get back into wow and i kept getting a message telling me that i do not have the apropriate permission to access that so i went to the properties and clicked on open file location and again i got the same message. then i tried to go to my computer to go find the world of warcraft folder myself but i got the same message again. after i tried all of my programs and everyone of them except for my alarm clock and mozilla firefox had the same message i was thinking it was spybot or the anti virus so i went into the start menu to try to uninstall both programs and on both it kept saying access denied i cant even get into control pannel
:(

Welcome
Try with the hidden administrator
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/507-built-administrator-account-enable-disable.html?filter[2]=User Accounts

If that does work try to give yourself permissions. You must reset
Sharing and Permissions - Windows 7 Forums
For both Seven and Vista

If you are unable to reset permissions
Try in safe mode, if that works try with a clean boot to diagnose

Have you tested for malware with malwarebytes?

If it is a registry problem, a repair install maybe the answer, after trying a system restore from before the virus.

Bottom line that pop up gave you malware or a virus. My steps are trying to fix that. If we cannot, I iwill get the help of an expert to help.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
Is it possible for you to do a full AV scan?
Then download, if possible malwarebytes and do full scan, updating first
Malwarebytes freeware
Let us know the results.
Then we will progress from there.

I would do the MalwareBytes scan, a system file check and schedule a disc check at next start up.
If you need help to do these just ask.
