HD's capacity recognition failure

Hi-

Today I installed Vista x64 and the only issue is both my HD's aren't having their max. capacity detected. The model is maxtor 6V300F0. Only 127 GB of the 300 GB's are available. Any ideas?

Hi Ink,

Welcome to Vista Forums.

Double check in Disk Management to see if you may have your hard drive split into another partition that is either showing as another drive in Computer or is unallocated and just sitting there unused. This tutorial will show you how to see if it is. If it is, then you can follow the instructions in the tutorial to make your hard drive one large one again.
