HD Audio.exe bug

Hello, my computer is showing that I have a drive A: when I dont. This has recently caused a bug that has a window popup saying a bunch of stuff about a drive beeing open, drive A: so i go and try to uninstall the drive but the window quits responding every time. Any other way to uninstall this drive??? Thanks

hi David, you can uninstall the drive by simply disabling the drive in the bios. The A:\ drive is referred to as a floppy drive and has probably been enabled by accident or other reason, i'll post a tutorial of how to do this in about 10 minutes.

first of all, I notice that you have an EVGA nforce motherboard so that means you'll have the same BIOS as myself, restart your PC and press Delete on the post screen, this will bring you to this screen:

select the standard CMOS features and hit return, you'll notice this screen with the suspect A drive:

just use your arrow keys to navigate to that option and select none in the list:

it should then look like this:

simply press escape now and select save and exit:
